BBQ Brisket Pasteles

Western BBQ goes international! Charlie’s Pride BBQ Beef Brisket is wrapped inside tender pizza dough along with pickled red onions, baked to a delicate golden brown. Don’t forget the napkins!

Ingredients
1 lb. Charlie's Pride BBQ Beef Brisket, chopped
1 cup Pickled red onions
2 Eggs, beaten
1 lb. Fresh pizza dough
 
 
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Divide dough into 4 round flat crusts. Spread Charlie’s Pride BBQ Beef Brisket to cover half of each crust, staying about 1” away from edges; top evenly with onions.
  3. Carefully lift the far edge of one crust, folding it over the filling to meet the opposite edge. Crimp edges to seal in sauce. Repeat for remaining 3 pasteles.
  4. Place all 4 sealed pasteles on a floured baking sheet, then brush tops with beaten egg.
  5. Cook 10 to 15 minutes on bottom rack of heated oven until dough is puffed up and golden and filling is hot. Serve immediately and enjoy!
