French Onion Roast Beef Melt

This warm and hearty sandwich is a delicious melding of international flavors, combining American Beef, Swiss Cheese and French Onion Dip into one single taste sensation that everyone will love!

Ingredients
¾ lb Charlie’s Pride Roast Beef, thinly sliced
1 Small onion (about 4 oz), sliced
4 slices Swiss cheese
4 Onion rolls
½ cup Prepared French onion dip
  Optional: 1 packet Charlie's Pride Beef Au Jus Mix (for alternate crock pot preparation)
Directions

Heat beef and onions in pan on stovetop over low heat, just until warm, about 4-5 minutes*. Place one slice of cheese on the bottom of each opened onion roll. Spread with French onion dip. Top with warm beef and onions. Cover each with top of roll and serve immediately.

*Alternate Crock Pot Preparation: Whisk together 3 cups hot water with Au Jus Mix in crock pot. Add sliced beef and onions, heat 2 hours on LOW, or 1 hour on HIGH. Follow with standard sandwich preparation indicated above, using slotted spoon to drain beef and onions before adding to sandwich.
